1. To raise funds to assist non-traditional women students to go back to school later in life
2. To give scholarships to individuals who have a strong sense of community service
3. To bring the community closer together by a local event aimed at helping those
within the community
4. To create a race that focuses on physical health
5. To make the community stronger by focusing on helping not winning
The Dr. Nancy I. English Memorial Foundation gave out 25 scholarships between 2010 and 2012. The scholarships were given out to honor the legacy of Dr Nancy - and were awarded based on the following criteria:
